Our benefits pay $350. a month, for up to six months, following a hospital confinement of three or more days; or the benefits pay $72.50 per week, for up to 4 weeks, for convalescence following outpatient surgery or surgery requiring a hospital confinement of less than 3 days. A claim form must be completed which requires an Attending Physician’s statement directly on the claim form.

IN-HOSPITAL COMFORT BENEFIT This benefit pays up to $25. a day for the cost
of non-medical, in-hospital “comfort” items such
as T. V. rental, telephone, hairdressing and reading material.. Receipts are not required when claiming the benefits.

As your Insurance representative, I would like to remind you of the opportunity we, as RWTO members, have to apply for Post Home Care. This plan takes care of hospital and home care expenses such as home nursing, convalescent benefits and in hospital cash. This is a great supplementary insurance and does NOT replace your basic insurance plan.

RWTO members who apply within one year of retirement are guaranteed enrollment in this plan. All other members are required to produce proof of good health upon application.
